Pacifica High School, Oxnard - California
Boys Junior and Senior Division
The Pacifica Tritons and Adolfo Camarillo Scorpions tied for the overall team champions. Junior David Garcia of Channel Islands was the Track Athlete of Meet as he won the 200 meter dash and was the Runner-Up in the 100 meter dash. He also anchored the Raiders winning 4x100 and 4x400 meter relay teams. Senior Keshawn McDaniel of Eastside High School was the Co Field Athlete of the Meet as he dominated both the long and triple jump, and was also 3rd in the 200. Jaren Bauer of Adolfo Camarillo was also the Co Field Athlete of the Meet as he won both the Shot Put and the Discus.
Girls Junior and Senior Division
The Oxnard Yellowjackets pulled away as the overall team champions. As sophomore Arissa Thompson of Oxnard was named the Track Athlete of the Meet for her dominating performances in the 100 (12.34) and 200 (25.34). The Yellowjackets also earned the Field Athlete of the Meet with Junior Michelle Sanchez who was the discus winner, the shot put runner up, and the 100m hurdle winner.
Boys Freshmen and Sophomore Division
The Oxnard Yellowjackets were the overall team champions the the Boy's Frosh Soph Division. Sophomore Isaiah Marecheau of Oxnard was named the Track Athlete of the Meet with his winning performances in the 100 and 200 meter sprints. Rio Mesa sophomore Samuel Marquez was the Field Athlete of the Meet with his winning effort in the discus and his runner up performance in the shot put.
Girls Freshmen and Sophomore Division
The Adolfo Camarillo Scorpions were the overall team champions in the Frosh Soph Division. Freshmen Alexandra Janowicz was named the Track Athlete of the Meet as the 200 meter winner, 100 meter runner up, and running on the winning 4x100m relay team. Teammate Trinity Haywood also of Adolfo Camarillo was the Co Field Athlete of the Meet winning the high jump and long jump. Freshmen Kathleen Nelson of Pacifica was also the Co Field Athlete of the Meet winning the shot put and placing 2nd in the discus, both in the Junior Senior Division.
